Sydney update

We have been busy in Sydney and have many more photos to post, but we've been slacking in our blogging. Last weekend, the day after we went to Cockatoo Island for the Biennale, we went to the Aroma Festival. It's a one-day festival celebrating coffee, tea, and chocolate from around the world... what could be better? It drew the largest crowds we've seen in Sydney yet, so us New Yorkers felt right at home. Sydneysiders take their coffee very, and we mean very, seriously. Drip coffee is not made, served, or discussed here--only espresso. You can have lattes galore but don't even think about drinking regular coffee from a pot--nope. But don't worry, you can always combine an espresso drink with a camel ride, as many people were doing at the Aroma Festival... just riding a camel around, looking at the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. What?!

Photos to come.
